- 3 tablespoons pumpkin puree
- 2 teaspoons vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract
- 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon charcoal powder
- 3 tablespoons orange sprinkles (optional)
- 3 tablespoons black sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Cream vegan butter and sugar together until fluffy.
- Add flax egg, vanilla, and pumpkin puree; mix to combine.
- Gradually mix in flour and salt, then divide dough.
- Color one part with charcoal powder.
- Roll out pumpkin dough and charcoal dough into rectangles.
- Layer charcoal on pumpkin dough, roll into a log.
- Press sprinkles onto the log, then freeze for 15-20 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F, slice dough into 10-12 pieces.
- Bake for 14-16 minutes until edges are golden.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before transferring.
