- 1 refrigerated sheet of puff pastry dough
- 1 Dollar Tree wooden pumpkin (for tracing)
- 1 sharp knife (for cutting)
- 1 can of apple pie filling
- 1 cookie sheet (for baking)
- 1 fork (for sealing)
- Green icing (with an extra small piping tip)
Instructions
- Unroll the puff pastry dough on a clean surface.
- Trace the pumpkin shape using the wooden pumpkin.
- Cut out the Jack-o-Lantern face on one cut-out.
- Scoop the apple pie filling onto the second cut-out.
- Place the face cut-out on top and align edges.
- Crimp edges with a fork to seal.
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and bake for 8 minutes.
- Decorate with green icing once cooled.
