- 3 cinnamon sticks, plus more for garnish
- 2 Honeycrisp apples, sliced (about 2.5 cups)
- 1 orange, thinly sliced
- 1 (750 ml) bottle red wine
- 1 and 3/4 cups fresh apple cider
- 1/2 cup brandy
- 1/4 cup orange juice (or juice from 2 medium oranges)
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- Club soda, to taste
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Place cinnamon sticks in a large pitcher.
- Add sliced Honeycrisp apples and orange.
- Pour in red wine, fresh apple cider, brandy, orange juice, and lemon juice.
- Stir gently and cover, refrigerating for 6 to 24 hours.
- Before serving, sweeten to taste if desired.
- Prepare optional cinnamon-sugar rim on glasses if using.
- Serve over ice and add club soda if desired.
