Ingredients

  • ½ cup brown sugar, packed (105 grams)
  • ½ cup granulated sugar (100 grams)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ teaspoon Royal Blue gel food coloring
  • 2⅓ cups bread flour or all-purpose flour (280 grams)
  • 1¾ teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup crushed cookies (Oreos and Chips Ahoy recommended)
  • ½ cup white chocolate chips
  • ½ cup milk chocolate chips
  • 2 milk chocolate bars, cut into squares
  • 12 whole cookies (Oreos or Chips Ahoy)
  • ½ cup crushed cookies (for topping)
  • Candy eyeballs

Instructions

  • Cream softened butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla until fluffy.
  • Incorporate eggs one at a time and mix in gel food coloring.
  • Mix dry ingredients and combine with wet mixture on low speed.
  • Fold in crushed cookies and chocolate chips.
  • Scoop and flatten dough balls, adding a square of chocolate or whole cookie in the center.
  • Enclose the filling and top with crushed cookies and candy eyeballs.
  • Chill the dough for at least 3 hours.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets.
  • Bake cookies for 10-12 minutes (20-22 for monster-sized).
  • Cool on baking sheets before transferring to a rack.
